MAYFLOWER, AR – A power station destroyed when last April’s killer tornado roared through Faulkner County has now been rebuilt.

Officials with Entergy Arkansas say it was completed in the last few weeks.

The utility is set to be honored in June for the restoration project.

The Southeastern Electric Exchange (SEE) will present Entergy employees with its Chairman’s Award for their innovation and technical ability. This “best of the best” award honors one member project each year considered the most outstanding in the nearly 20 states SEE serves.
