SHERWOOD, Ark. – Two local teens have been sentenced to state prison terms after plea deals in a robbery-murder from last year.

The victim in the case, Bryan Thompson, 17, was found dead inside his vehicle at the Bill Harmon Recreation Center in April 2016.

Xavier Porter, (at right in above photo) 18, has been sentenced to 10 years after pleading guilty Tuesday to a charge of Aggravated Robbery in the case. Porter had been charged with Capital Murder but the state dropped that charge.

Quincy Parks, 15, was sentenced last week to 20 years after he pleaded guilty to First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery. He too had been charged with Capital Murder.

Trevone Miller was also originally charged in the deadly incident but his case was moved to juvenile court late last year. He was 14 at the time.

Court officials say Porter admitted to luring Thompson to the recreation center in order to rob him but said he was not there when the victim was shot.
