Puppies Rescued from Fayetteville Drainage Ditch

FAYETTEVILLE, AR — A litter of puppies has been rescued from a drainage ditch.

Fayetteville Animal Services says officers rescued seven 4-week-old puppies on Sunday.

On its Facebook page, Fayetteville Animal Services posted: 

“Officer Ridley and Officer Kimble with Fayetteville Animal Services rescued 7 puppies from a drainage ditch in Fayetteville yesterday afternoon. All 7 are in good health though they were dangerously close to the murky water. They are all approximately 4 weeks old and we will be seeking qualified foster homes as soon as they are cleared by our veterinarian. More photos of the puppies will be posted soon. If you are interested in being a foster home please contact us by phone at (479) 444-3456.”
