(KTAL) – Remains found on a sandbar in Red River have been positively identified as 42-year-old Janice Northcross of Ashdown, AR, according to Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Coroner Dr. Todd Thoma.
On Sept. 11, the Caddo Parish Coroner’s Office and FACES lab at LSU collected an adult female skeleton and transported it to Baton Rouge for further testing. Dental records provided by the Arkansas State Police helped confirm the ID of Northcross.
Northcross hasn’t been seen since she fell off the I-30 bridge back on Feb. 8 to avoid being hit by an 18-wheeler near Fulton, Arkansas
