BENTON COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA) – A Rogers man has been found guilty on two counts of Sexual Assault, 2nd Degree and two counts of Sexual Assault, 4th Degree in a Tuesday morning court hearing.

Evan Ballard, 22, was sentenced to 32 years in the Arkansas Department of Correction with an additional 8 years suspended.

In 2017, Ballard was arrested and charged with one felony count of Rape, after being accused of drugging and raping a 13-year-old girl at his home.

According to police, Ballard met the teen through a mutual friend and took her to his house on May 13.

The victim told police that when they got to Ballard’s house he gave her some “acid” and told her it would “make her feel good.”

According to police documents, the two started kissing and then had sex.

Deputies found Ballard while he was working at the Malco Cinema in Rogers. He was questioned on May 24 and told police he did not have sex with the victim. Ballard was then arrested and booked into the Benton County Jail without bond.
