A video showing kids forced to fight continues drawing major concern from child advocates.

UALR Professor and sociologist Dr. Terry Richard watched and listened closely to the video showing older people encourage kids to fight on camera.

You can watch the original story here. We want to warn you the video is hard to watch.

Dr. Richard says while the video is disturbing to most people, in some communities people see it as a way to teach kids to be tough.
However, it can lead kids down a dangerous path.

“It leads to exactly the kids who are beating up individuals and assaulting individuals and they think this is right,” says Dr. Richard.

The Department of Human Services called the child abuse hotline concerning the video but they need more information to identify the people responsible.

They’re asking anyone with information to call the child abuse hotline at 1-800-482-5964.
