HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – A boat has sunk after catching fire on Lake Hamilton.

It happened shortly before noon Friday, forcing two people to jump off the boat to escape the flames.

They had reportedly borrowed the boat from a friend.

Environmental officers were called to the scene to contain oil spilled in the accident.

A recovery crew was en route to remove the boat from the lake.
