Update: Victim ID'd in East AR Crop Duster Crash

ST. FRANCIS COUNTY, Ark. - The man who died following an early morning crop duster crash has been identified as Wheatley fire chief, Chad McClain, 41.

Our content partner WMC Action News 5 spoke to family friends of McClain. They say he was a very good man who had a 15-year-old daughter.

ST. FRANCIS COUNTY, Ark. - One person is reported to have been killed in a crop duster crash in Eastern Arkansas.

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management says it happened Wednesday morning north of Wheatley.

The plane went down in a field off Highway 78.

As of 8:15 a.m., local fire departments were reported to still be on the scene.
