Teen Appears in Court Following El Dorado Homicide

EL DORADO, Ark. (KTVE) – A teenager arrested in connection to an El Dorado homicide made his first appearance in the Union County Courthouse on Friday morning.

According to El Dorado police, officers were called to the 500-block of West Second Street in El Dorado shortly before 7 a.m. on Wednesday.

At the scene, police say they found 39-year-old Juwon Burns unresponsive in the backyard with a gunshot wound.

Orlandreo Henry, 19, was arrested in connection to the homicide.

Henry faces charges of first-degree murder, possession of a firearm, aggravated assault and fleeing from police.

This investigation is ongoing.
