LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – This is a continuation of a conversation with Little Rock School Superintendent Mike Poore.
In this segment we talk about a number of topics including guns in schools and student reading scores.
Mr. Poore says by third grade, students need to have a reading skill set which builds a foundation for them to learn in grades 4 through 6.
As it stands now students reading scores are down.
Next week, the third and final installment of Terrell Talk with Supt. Poore.
