LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Many questions remain after the remains of Ebby Steppach were discovered Tuesday in Chalamont Park, two and a half years after she disappeared.

Here is a timeline of some events involving Steppach’s case:

• October 26, 2015 – Ebby Steppach, then 18, reported missing
• October 30, 2015 – Steppach’s car found at Chalamont Park
• November, 2015 – Steppach’s family offers $3,000 reward
• April, 2016 – Volunteers search wooded area near Markham and Bowman
• November, 2016 – Little Rock Police search Chalamont Park for three days
• May, 2017 – Steppach’s parents say mistakes were made in case, Detective says case has potential of being homicide
