Tropical Storm Fay Sets Hurricane Season Record


Tropical Storm Fay becomes the earliest 6th named tropical storm of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. Fay developed off the North Carolina Coast with maximum winds of 45 MPH late this afternoon and is forecast to bring heavy rain to the Mid-Atlantic and parts of the Northeast tomorrow and Saturday, but is not expected to become a hurricane.
