NEAR GREENLAND, Ark. – Northbound traffic was shutdown Thursday morning by a burning semi along I-49 in northwest Arkansas.

It happened near Greenland (Washington County).

A passer-by recorded the attached video which shows flames shooting from under the truck’s cab section as crews arrived to put out the fire.

No injuries were reported and no other cars were involved, according to the West Fork Fire Department.

A wrecker arrived on the scene by early afternoon to tow the burned truck away.
