CONWAY, Ark.- Two Little Rock men were arrested Friday in connection to a shooting in Conway that killed an 18-year-old man on Dec. 27.

According to Conway Police, Rodrick and Robert Thornton, both 24, face manslaughter and other charges in connection to the shooting death of Tyreke Summage.

The brothers were arrested Friday afternoon at a home in Conway.

Detectives believe the brothers and Summage fired shots at three other men who were inside an apartment at Plaza Pointe apartments on Dec. 27.

According to police, at least one of the men inside the apartment fired back, hitting Summage. Summage later died at a local hospital.

Officials say Robert and Rodrick Thornton face manslaughter charges because Summage, their alleged accomplice, was killed during the commission of another crime, which was aggravated assault.

According to police, the man who shot Summage hasn’t been charged with a crime at this time.

Conway Police say they’re still investigating.
