LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A Conway man has been arrested after being accused of making threats to two UA Little Rock students outside a fraternity house.

According to a police report, it happened late Sunday afternoon on “Kappa Sigma” property on W. 32nd Street.

Barney Lee Doles, 59, is being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility on a charge of Terroristic Threatening and also a Hold for Parole.

Two fraternity members reported the man who had been found sitting outside the frat house on a bucket told them he worked for the university and was there to fix a lawnmower. When he was asked to leave the privately-owned property, the man allegedly reached in his pocket and took out a small razor blade. The students said he then shouted threats at both of them and said “I’ll gut you like a fish,” as he left the property.

He was later found walking near the UA Little Rock Police Department.

Doles has a court date set for Dec. 12 in Pulaski County District Court.
