Update: Bryant police say 2 arrested in Colorado in Laurel Street shooting investigation

Update (Saturday, March 16):

BRYANT, Ark. -The two people sought in connection with a shooting earlier this month in Bryant have been arrested in Colorado, according to Bryant police.

 The two were arrested this afternoon in Lakewood, Colorado.

A deputy sheriff spotted their vehicle.

The Bryant Police Department is expressing apreciation to everyone that has helped with this case, with special thanks to the U.S. Marshals service..

BRYANT, Ark. – A local man is hospitalized after being shot at a home early Tuesday morning and police are looking for two suspects.

In a news release issued Wednesday, the Bryant Police Department identified the victim as Brandon Graves, 19. His condition was described as serious.

BPD investigators say the shooting happened around 1:30 in the morning at a home on N. Laurel Street. Officers found Graves in a bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head. He was airlifted to the hospital.

The BPD says witnesses told them a juvenile shot Graves and then left before officers arrived. Investigators are also looking for Haylee Stewart, 18, who they say left with the juvenile in a 2010 silver Chevrolet Malibu. 

Warrants have been issued for both suspects and Bryant Police are asking if anyone has any information on their whereabouts to please contact Bryant PD at (501) 943-0943.

The juvenile suspect is wanted for Battery in the 1st Degree; Aggravated Assault and Tampering with Physical Evidence.

Stewart is wanted for Tampering with Physical Evidence and Witness Tampering.
