Update: 

FORT SMITH, Ark. (KNWA) – Two men have been arrested in connection to an aggravated robbery where a cab driver was shot at least once in the head.

Keithan Norris, 19, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree battery and felony possession of a firearm. And Norman Massey, 20, was arrested on suspicion of second-degree battery, according to the Fort Smith Police Department. 

Authorities said additional charges are possible as the investigation continues.

FORT SMITH, Ark. – Police are investigating a Tuesday night aggravated robbery where a cab driver was shot at least once in the head.

Fort Smith Police say the shooting happened around 11 p.m. near the intersection of Mussel and Newlon roads. 

Officers say the cab driver was shot twice, one bullet hitting his head. 

The cab driver was treated at a hospital for serious but not life-threatening injuries, police say. 

No arrests have been made. Authorities have not released any further information.
