LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – There are new details about a weekend shooting that left a man injured.

A Little Rock Police Department report released on Monday identifies the victim as Everett Chambers, 59 and says he suffered three gunshot wounds to the right leg near his Valmar St. home.

A witness reported seeing one man armed with a shotgun chasing another man before they heard three shots and saw Chambers fall to the ground.

Police say Chambers’ neighbor, Robert Walker, 58, was arrested at his home and taken to jail.

He is charged with battery and possession of firearms by certain persons.

Chambers told police the men had argued over a woman before Walker shot him while Walker told police he shot Chambers because he had robbed him a few days before.
