Update: Suspect in LR stabbing death in custody, police say



LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A suspect in a Little Rock fatal stabbing Tuesday night is in police custody. 

Little Rock police believe Roderick Mills, 29, stabbed and killed Nicky Anthony, 58, near the Nehemiah House.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – A suspect has been identified by police in the Tuesday night stabbing death of a man on the city’s east side.

The Little Rock Police Department says detectives are looking for Roderick Mills, 29.

Police say Mills, who is believed to be homeless, is considered armed and dangerous.

He faces a charge of Murder 1st Degree.

Anyone coming into contact with Mills is advised not to approach him but to call 911. 

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police have released the name of a man who died Tuesday night after being stabbed outside a local homeless shelter.

The Little Rock Police Department (LRPD) has identified him as Nicky Anthony, 58. Police say he had suffered a wound to the neck.

The incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. near Nehemiah House at 2921 Springer Boulevard.

The LRPD has released no further information on the investigation.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Police are investigating a deadly stabbing Tuesday night near a homeless shelter. 

Little Rock Police say a man was stabbed in the neck outside Jericho Way on Springer Blvd, a homeless center, where he then walked to Nehemiah House, a rehab center. 

Authorities say he later died from his injuries at a hospital. 

No arrests have been made.
