LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — A primary goal of Arkansas Victory Over Violence is to unite community groups and leaders and be a resource for reducing violence crime and changing lives through improvements in education, jobs, mentoring, and hunger.
Victory Over Violence is actively seeking additional partners and participants. Here’s what you can do to help:
Recognize Someone Making a Difference – If there’s someone you know who’s actively working to improve the lives of people around him/her, let us know. The same goes for groups doing impactful work. We want to highlight their efforts.
Get Your Group Involved – If you have a group or organization that’s hosting an event or working to help others, we might be able to assist you. Send us an email detailing your work.

Spread the Word on Social Media – If you want to see the crime problem come to an end, help spread the word by “declaring victory” over violence on social media. Share links to our stories and VOV webpage. We’re also encourage you to use the hashtag #ARDeclareVictory to show your friends and family why you’re declaring Victory Over Violence.
See Something, Say Something, Save Someone – If you see something that doesn’t look right, say something. Call the police. If you say something when you see something, you have the potential to save someone who could’ve been in danger.
Keep Guns Safe and Secured – One accidental shooting death is too many. The unsafe storage of firearms is a public health and safety issue in Arkansas. If you’d like to request a free gun lock through Project Child Safe, click here.
Be an Active Participant – When we announce events or opportunities to get involved, be an active participant. Make time to give back and be part of the solution.
