WEST MEMPHIS, Ark. – A local teen has died in a three-car accident.

It happened Thursday evening on Highway 77/Missouri Street and South Worthington Drive.

The Arkansas State Police preliminary accident report identifies the victim as Brent M. Price, 19, who was driving a 1995 Toyota Corolla.

Troopers say Price’s car was headed east on South Worthington and had stopped at the intersection at Highway 77/Missouri Street before trying to make a left turn when it struck a 2004 Mercury Marquis headed south on 77. The impact pushed the Toyota into the northbound lane where the car also struck a 2006 Cadillac Escalade.

The accident report notes that the Mercury driver, a 29-year-old West Memphis man, was injured in the accident, but there’s no further word on his condition.
