FOURTH QUARTER UPDATE: (27-20)

Arkansas started the 4th quarter with possession of the ball and ended up capitalizing on their opportunity after KJ Jefferson hit Ty Washington for a 17-yard touchdown to put the Hogs up 20-17.

Not to be denied, Ole Miss’s offense came back to life after a 12 play, 75-yard drive that ended with a 7 yard touchdown run from Ulysses Bentley IV to put the Rebels back on top 24-20.

The Razorbacks ended up punting the ball away to Ole Miss whose offense continued their momentum, leading to a 22 yard field goal from Caden Davis, putting the Rebels up by 7, 27-20.

Arkansas got the ball back with nearly 3 minutes left in the game and continued their comeback attempt which fell short after KJ Jefferson threw an interception.

Ole Miss then ran the clock out and proceeded to win 27-20 to move to 5-1 for the season.

THIRD QUARTER UPDATE: (17-13)

After struggling to score in the first half, Arkansas took the ball to start the second half and got back on the scoreboard thanks to a 56-yard field goal from Cam Little.

Arkansas’s defense continued to hold Ole Miss and forced a turnover on downs thanks to a sack from Malik Chavis.

The Razorbacks drove the ball down the field again and settled for a 26-yard field goal from Cam Little to bring the score to 17-13 with Ole Miss still in the lead.

SECOND QUARTER UPDATE: (17-7)

After starting the 2nd quarter with control of the football, the Hogs offense continued to flounder and ended the drive with a punt.

Both teams continued to trade punts for the rest of the quarter until Ole Miss receiver Dayton Wade caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Jaxson Dart to put the Rebels up 17-7 at the end of the half.

FIRST QUARTER UPDATE: (10-7)

The Rebels started the game going 3 and out, giving Arkansas a chance to put together a long drive down to the Ole Miss 6 yard line.

They used their offensive momentum to get the ball down to the goal when Ty Washington caught a 3 yard touchdown pass from KJ Jefferson to make the score 7-0 Arkansas.

Ole Miss was quick to respond, however, after Caden Davis kicked a 27-yard field goal to bring the Rebels back 7-3.

The Rebels continued their momentum when KJ Jefferson was intercepted on a 3rd and 11 play near the end of the quarter. Ole Miss continued their momentum and scored on a 1 yard touchdown run to put them ahead for the first time in the game, 10-7.

Fans know the serious side of Arkansas star-quarterback KJ Jefferson on the field, but his family describes his as one word, “goofy.” This week on KJ Kronicles, the PTN crew gave viewers a look into Jefferson’s personality off the field from the perspective of those closest to him.

The Razorbacks (2-3, 0-2) are still in search for their first SEC win this season after a loss to BYU, LSU and last week against Texas A&M. Ole Miss (4-1, 1-1) is coming off a win against LSU that followed a loss to Alabama.
