“All for the Hogs” Premiers Friday Night

LITTLE ROCK, AR – NBA Hall of Famer Sidney Moncrief will host a screening for “All for The Hogs” on Friday, April 26 in Little Rock. The Mint Farm Films’ documentary will tell the story of how Moncrief and his mixed-race team’s success brought fans of different ethnicities together while also paving the way for the re-establishment of men’s basketball as a force in the state. Proceeds will benefit Moncrief’s We Are One Diversity and Inclusion Initiative for Arkansas students. Tickets for $100 are available at Eventbrite.

On Saturday, We Are One will host a community service project at 7 a.m. at the 2019 Omega Prostate / Colon Cancer Awareness 5K Run / Walk at Murray Park. The project will be followed by a short, fun and interactive learning session for students, where Moncrief will help participants understand the benefits of embracing diversity and inclusion through enhanced self-awareness, empathy, self-regulation, soft skills, discipline and collaboration. Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m.

Moncrief is a former University of Arkansas Razorback and NBA basketball legend. He and his wife, Takisha, created Moncrief Game Changer, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, in 2003 to provide training on leadership, entrepreneurship, career readiness, professional development and diversity and inclusion for youth and adults.
