Senior cornerback Ryan Pulley is one of the current juniors at Arkansas who has been linked to the 2019 NFL Draft, but it appears instead he is not only staying, but encouraging the incoming recruits.

Pulley tweeted encouragement to recruits on Tuesday on the eve of the early signing period that is from Dec. 19-21.

Pulley’s tweet drew a response from secondary coach Mark Smith as well.

The Razorbacks currently have 26 public commitments though right now they expect six or seven of those to sign on Feb. 6.

One recruit who will make his intentions known on Wednesday is Harvey (La.) West Jefferson cornerback Gregory Brooks Jr. He is committed to Mississippi State, but will announce his final decision and ink with one of five schools on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Brooks will sign with either the Bulldogs, Arkansas, Kansas, Kansas State or Southern Miss.

Linebacker is a position the Hogs are still monitoring closely. Dodgy City (Kan.) Community College’s Lakia Henry is committed to Tennessee, but very much considering the Hogs. Dyersburg (Tenn.) High School’s Chris Russell announced today he will sign late. He’s committed to Memphis, but has offers now from Arkansas, Auburn, Tennessee and others. East Mississippi Community College’s Sci Martin visited Arkansas the Dec. 7-9 weekend.

Sardis (Miss.) North Panola quarterback KJ Jefferson fresh off playing in the Mississippi-Alabama All-Star game will sign with the Hogs at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday in his school’s library.

Junior linebacker De’Jon Harris also tweeted out a few week’s ago his intentions to return for his senior year. Defensive lineman McTelvin Agim is the third Razorback who was exploring entering the 2019 NFL Draft.
