Arkansas returned to the practice field on Tuesday with possibly a new wrinkle on the offensive line.
Senior Hjalte Froholdt worked some at left guard while sophomore Ty Clary moved over to center. Froholdt has started 25 games at left guard prior to this season, but started the first three this year at center. Clary started the past two games at left guard after redshirt freshman Kirby Adcock got the nod in the season opener. Clary started the first four games at right guard last season.
Senior Colton Jackson was working with the first team at left tackle. Seniors Johnny Gibson (right guard) and Brian Wallace (right tackle) made up the remainder of the first unit. Jackson played some last week for the first time season in relief of true freshman Noah Gatlin. Redshirt freshman Shane Clenin was running second-team center.
Junior defensive end Dorian Gerald practiced on Tuesday, but was in a green jersey. Senior linebacker Dre Greenlaw also was in a green jersey as was junior cornerback Britto Tutt. Tutt got his first start this past Saturday against North Texas.
Sophomore kick returner and wide receiver De’Vion Warren wasn’t spotted at practice. Sophomore cornerback Chevin Calloway still isn’t with the team. He missed last Saturday’s game for personal reasons.
Defensive end Randy Ramsey started and played for the first time this past Saturday. The senior was at practice on Tuesday without any protective jersey.
As promised by Chad Morris on Monday, junior Ty Storey worked with the first team at quarterback.
