Arkansas sents all of its offensive assistants today to see Phenix City (Ala.) Central running back A’Montae Spivey.
Spivey, 6-1, 200, committed to Arkansas on Aug. 6, but didn’t sign early. The Hogs are hoping to sign him on Feb. 6. His mother, Lateisha Floyd, tweeted out pictures of the Arkansas coaches on Monday.

He is slated to visit Ole Miss the Jan. 26 weekend. He took his official visit to Arkansas the weekend of Oct. 6 when the Hogs hosted Alabama.
As a senior, Spivey helped lead his team to a perfect 14-0 record. They beat Thompson 52-7 on Dec. 5 to win the Class 7A state championship. His unofficial stats for the season were 179 rushes for 1,335 yards and 17 touchdowns while also catching 10 passes for 124 yards and three kickoff returns for 116 yards.
Arkansas currently has signed 22 players and has six commitments for the Class of 2019. They are also recruiting a couple other players as well.
The Razorbacks are hoping Spivey isn’t the last Red Devil to sign with them. They have offered 2020 teammates wide receiver Eddie Williams and offensive linemen Joshua Jones, 6-6, 300, and Javion Cohen, 6-5, 275.
