Arkansas has extended a scholarship offer to Hazen 2020 prospect Blayne Toll.
Toll, 6-5, 240, is the fourth in-state recruit to receive an Arkansas offer in his class. He joins Morrilton quarterback Jacolby Criswell, 6-1, 208; Jonesboro defensive end Jashaud Stewart, 6-2, 216; and Bryant outside linebacker Catrell Wallace, 6-6. 215, to hold an Arkansas offer. Toll announced the offer on Twitter on Monday.
He is one of the hottest recruits in the nation as several schools have offered him in recent days and weeks. Toll now holds 15 offers including seven since New Year’s Day. The latest are from TCU, Central Michigan, Kansas, LSU, Houston and Tennessee in addition to the Hogs.
Previous offers for Toll were from Arkansas State, Louisville, Texas State, Oklahoma State, Southern Miss, Rutgers, Memphis and Carroll College.
Toll plays quarterback and defensive end for Hazen. He’s expected to play tight end or defensive end in college depending on where he goes.
In addition to Toll, Arkansas also extended a couple of other 2020 offers Monday morning. They were D’Iberville (Miss.) athlete Jaden Walley, 6-0, 170, and Tyler (Texas) John Tyler running back Kitan Crawford, 5-10, 180.
As a junior, Crawford carried 21 times for 269 yards and two touchdowns. He also caught three passes for 78 yards and a touchdown. On defense at safety, Crawford had 30 tackles, including 18 unassisted, two interceptions and 12 pass breakups. He also returned five kickoffs for 78 yards.
