Arkansas WR’s ignite the Razorback attack

Local Sports
Dallas, TX – Other than the Lawry’s Beef Bowl, not much has been able to slow down the Razorbacks offense.

The unit, specifically the wide receivers have been spectacular, setting several new records along the way the season.

But that drive to succeed and competitive spirit starts in the locker room.

“Oh you make a big play, I’m gonna make a big play,” said senior Joe Adams.  “It just gets the team going, and through us we raise the bar.”

“Our coaches likes to call us the gamebreakers,” said senior Jarius Wright.  “They feel we can change the game.”

The Razorbacks are a tight-knit group, but the receivers feel like they have their own fraternity.

“We’re a team within a team,” said Wright.  “Each of us has each other’s back, and we’ll do our best to come through for them.”

Arkansas fans know about the Hogs explosive offense, but the Kansas State defense is also quickly learning the dangers in trying to defend the Razorbacks.

“The thing about their offense is that they have different size guys to do everything,” said Wildcats junior Nigel Malone.  “If they want to throw it short and put it in a playmaker’s hands, they do that.  If they want to stretch the field and give you the deep ball they can do that.  And you can’t sleep on #11 (Cobi Hamilton) and they also have a good tight end as well.  They’re ready to spread the field.
