HOT SPRINGS, Ark. — Nevada knocks off the defending champs. The Blue Jays beat Izard County 48-47 in the 1A State Championship on Thursday.
Despite losing grasp of a commanding lead in the fourth quarter, Nevada held on late. A late bucket and crucial free throws help Nevada edge Izard County for the 1A title.
