NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR – A new termination letter has been issued by the North Little Rock School District for high school football Coach Brad Bolding. (See it attached above or click here to read).
Bolding has been battling the district for weeks over his dismissal.
He was first notified by the district last month about his pending termination.
The school district says multiple reasons are behind Bolding’s firing. including the use of an ineligible player that forced the district to forfeit football and basketball wins.
“All this information was known to the district at the time the first letter was written. This is outrageous. These allegations if they were serious should have been included in the first letter but were not. Coach Bolding, his family and his team have been in limbo for nearly 40 days. Now we have to start the process anew. I don’t believe the second letter is appropriate under the Fair Teacher Dismissal Act since these allegations were known at the time the first letter was written. They should have been included the previous letter. The district withdrew the first letter stating new information was uncovered during investigation. That does not appear to be accurate. I would encourage the Superintendent to withdraw the letter and reinstate Coach Bolding immediately,” said David Couch, Bolding’s attorney today when he released the letter to FOX 16 Sports Director Wess Moore.
