Flash Flooding in Little Rock Area

Warning in place until 6 p.m.

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - A flash flood warning has been issued by the National Weather Service (NWS) until 6 p.m.

The Flash Flood Warning is issued for Saline and Pulaski Counties. 

Radar shows thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. 

The NWS says up to two inches of rain have already fallen and one to two additional inches of rain are possible.

In the Cammack Village neighborhood in Little Rock water was reported to be completely covering streets around 4:15 Wednesday afternoon. A storm report from the NWS also said water was above tires and up to the body of cars parked on the street.

Several inches of water moving quickly over streets was reported around 4:30 in the Leawood/Sheraton Park neighborhood just off Cantrell Road.

Reminder to turn around, don't drown.
