Fourth Tropical System of the Season Forms in the Atlantic

Weather

Subtropical Depression number 4 formed in the Atlantic Monday afternoon with maximum winds of 35 MPH. The system developed from a non-tropical area of low pressure that is acquiring tropical characteristics. Since the system is not yet fully tropical, it is designated a sub-tropical depression. Sub-tropical depression number 4 is not forecast to strengthen much as it moves over colder waters away from the U.S., but if it does strengthen it will be named Dolly.
